My name is Percell Garvin and I’d like to  say that last summer (2007) Joel Smith and his firm, redesigned & renovated my outdated and dull kitchen\den area. In the process of his completing his work, Mr. Smith transformed this area into a beautiful and functional kitchen and sitting area!

I could not have been more pleased with the results! It is something that one would expect to see on the front cover of “Better Homes & Gardens” or some other nationally distributed magazine! All who enter this area of my home are very free with their praise and compliments of the beauty, functionality, and the craftmanship that is evident in this wonderful looking living & working space of my home!

In September of 2006, my husband and I decided to remodel our kitchen. We wasted several weeks trying to do this project ourselves through the local home improvement stores.  After much frustration, we talked to Joel and Tanya Smith at Smith Woodworks & Design. We were thrilled! They had the knowledge to complete the project and lots of exciting new ideas for us. We discovered that we would actually save money and have much better results if we went with Smith Woodworks and Design.  
 
Joel was able to start immediately! The demolition of the kitchen began the first of October.  We were in our new kitchen and cooking holiday meals by the end of December. This was exactly the time line that was promised.  We were pleased with all the subcontractors that were employed as well Joel who checked on our kitchen progress every day. If the results were not up to his standards, they were redone. Joel also came back after completion and corrected several problem areas. For example, he ordered a new drawer for a drawer that didn’t open smoothly.
 
I cannot express how much we have enjoyed our beautiful new kitchen.  The kitchen is the heart of the home and it is like we have a brand new home.  I would highly recommend Smith Woodworks and Design.
